Nature Walk

Today was a beautiful sunny day.  Mom said, "let's do something different.  Let's take a nature walk today."

We went to the Norman J. Levy Park and Preserve in Merrick.

We looked at the map to choose a trail to walk.

There were benches along the trail and sometimes we sat down to enjoy the view.

Then we saw the fishing pier.  Nick wanted to go out and look over the water.

This is Nick on the fishing pier.  We could see the Jones Beach theater and the lighthouse in the distance.

Then Nick said he wanted to go back to the car.  Mom said, "ok, we can go back now.  Next time, let's walk longer on the trail."

Dinner at West End Pizza

After mom came home from California, mom and dad picked up Nick at school for a doctor appointment. Nick did not like the disruption to his routine.  After the doctor, we took Nick to West End Pizza for dinner.  Nick had a big Italian dinner, and he was very happy with that!

Mom's visit to California

In April, mom went to California to work far away.  Mom visited Nick's Auntie Nicole, and Nicks's little cousin Ryder.

Basketball - #12

A few weeks ago mom went to see Nick play basketball at the Long Beach High School.  Nick wore #12 on his shirt.  Mom was so proud to see Nick play with all his school friends.
