A Trip to Staples

Today, Nick brought mommy over to his printer. Nick gave mommy a piece of paper and he said, "print."

Mommy looked at the paper, but mommy could not see the picture. The ink was all gone, and then mommy noticed that we did not have much paper left. Mommy said, "we should go to the store and buy paper and a printer cartridge for your printer."

We went in the car to the Staples store. We found the paper and the printer cartridge, but then we noticed that the line to pay was very long.

Nick did not like waiting, he wanted to go in the car, but mommy told Nick he had to:

1. wait in line
2. pay with money
3. put our things in a bag
4. then go in the car

Nick still did not like waiting.

Finally we were all done. When we came home daddy put the printer cartridge in, and Nick printed out a recipe call Happy Chanukah Applesauce. Mommy said, "are you going to cook this for me?"

Nick did not say any words.

Time for Turkey!

It is November, and the holiday this month is Thanksgiving. Nick has been buying crafts at the store and making decorations at AHRC.

Mommy said, "wow, that is a lot of Turkey crafts we have in the house."

We looked at the calendar, and Nick said, "December coming soon!"

Yes Nick, next month will be your most favorite time of year, Christmas Time!

Nick's Friend Bobby

Today mommy was home from work, and mommy picked up Nick at school and then we went to the doctor. We had a surprise, we saw Bobby and his mommy. Nick knows Bobby from TAPA, where they play together. They were so happy to see each other! They had happy faces and hugged and played on the floor together.

Mommy said to Nick, "how funny that we ran into your friend, I did not know you and Bobby liked each other so much!"

Long Beach Rec Center Pool

Now it is November, and Nicks pool is closed. Today, when Nick woke up, he asked daddy to take him to the Long Beach Rec Center pool.

Daddy took these pictures of Nick on the big diving board, then he jumped off into the deep water!

Then Nick swam over to the side of the pool. Sometimes he would float on his back and kick his legs, daddy said, "when did you learn to do the backstroke?"

Nick is such a good swimmer. Mommy and Nick looked at the pictures on the computer. Mommy said, "I'm happy that you can go to the rec center pool to swim with daddy, what a lucky boy you are!"
