Levy Nature Preserve

Mom and Nick like to take nature walks at the Levy Nature Preserve.  We can walk in the trees, sit on the fishing pier, and walk to the top of the hill to see views of Long Island and New York City.
This is a picture of Nick taken in January.  Nick likes to run ahead of mom on the path,
This is the top of the hill.  There is a windmill at the top, and you can look in the viewer to see things far away.
Here is a view from the top, of New York City at sunset.
When we went for our walk in January it was right after New Years.  Nick wore his 2016 glasses and his patriotic hat mom gave him for Christmas.
And here is Nick today.  It was a beautiful spring day, and we did not have to wear our coats.  We sat out on the fishing pier for a long time, taking in the sun, the sound of the waves and the view of Jones Beach Tower.
